A bit of History

ICR was founded in 1991 encourraged by the Office for Transfer of Research Results and the Rectorate of the University of Granada from the creation of several patetns held by professors from the Department of Electronics and Computer Sicence at the University. In order to achieve a consistent initial funding of projects to undertake, the University of Granada researchers and promoters of the company contacted the company venture capital investments Progranada and other business persons from Granada after which they created the company. The initial objectives of the company were to develop and enhance the area of Research and Development building on the existing technological capabilities, and specialization in Computer Applications, Electronics and Telecommunications oriented sectors of water, agriculture, environment, public works, building management, hospital, e-health and industrial engineering.
